Elegant Designers Evening Hosted by Outdoor Elegance

Last night I attended another wonderful designer event, hosted by Doug and Sharon Sanicola owners of Outdoor Elegance in LaVerne, California. The brand new showroom is a multilevel building with walls of glass that brings the sunshine in. Surrounding the building are beautiful and unique fountains, garden statues, outdoor furniture, outdoor accessories and pottery. The water flows through these fountains which creates a tranquil setting.

Outdoor Elegance sent a chartered bus to Pasadena to pick up chapter ASID members and drive them to the event. Representatives from OW Lee, Gloster, Kettal, Treasure Garden, and more were on hand to demonstrate and present the latest in outdoor products.

As designers strolled through the beautiful new showroom, servers from Bristol Farms passed out summer culinary foods, as music streamed through both levels. Designers once again were able to spend time sitting on the furniture, testing out products and seeing just how Outdoor Elegance brings an outdoor lifestyle to life. Upstairs a designer room is available to help create an outdoor oasis. Nothing is left to the imagination, everything that any homeowner would desire for outdoor living can be found here.

Doug thanked everyone for attending and explained how Outdoor Elegance can be a terrific resource to the designers and their client projects. Outdoor Elegance wants to work closely with the design industry and they are doing everything right to make this a reality.

It is very important in this economy to reach out to the design community. Think about how you can assist designers on their outdoor living projects, then communicate with your local ASID chapter and consider hosting an event.

This is the second designer event that I have attended this spring, now is the time to open your doors and let the outside in.
