Major League Baseball, Father's Day & Apple Pie

June 5, 2009

Whether it’s time for spring training or the World Series, baseball offers lots of opportunities for learning, enjoyment, recreation and camaraderie. It’s a national pastime with its own place in American history.

Whether you are rooting for the underdog or a prime franchise in sports like the Yankees, one thing is for sure there will be highs and lows, sportsmanship and poor sportsmanship, cheers and boos, pats on the back and fights.

I recently attended a Baseball game that included all of these features. One thing must be said, Baseball is as American as the 4th of July. I even caught some on camera and is now online at http://phoenix.fanster.com for all to see.

Justin Upton is a five-tool player with phenom
written all over him. Then why isn’t he as popular as Augie Ojeda?

This sport, Baseball,  resonates in all of us, that must be why Tervis Tumblers just signed a deal with MLB to sell their tumblers with MLB team logos such as the famed New York Yankees, Boston Red Sox, Detroit Tigers, Oakland A’s, Chicago Cubs, Colorado Rockies and the team that I recently photographed the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Father’s day and graduation time is near and these fabulous MLB tumblers are great gifts.
