Decorate Your Store, Showroom or Home for Fall to Reflect the Season

Decorate for Fall

It's that beautiful time of the year again when the days get shorter, the temperature gets cooler, the leaves begin to change color and the holidays are just around the corner. This is the time of year that reminds me of hot apple cider, picking apples, apple pie and the smell of cinnamon. It is the perfect time to redecorate your store showroom or your home to reflect the season.

Memories of Apple Orchards

Select a prominent dining table in your showroom or your kitchen table then create a fall tablescape. Use a few yards of Sunbrella Canvas Nutmeg fabric as a table runner. Lay it across the shorter width of the table directly under two opposing place settings. In the center of the table place a large basket or bowl filled with a variety of apples, green Granny Smith, red Delicious and the two tone color of Apple Crisps, add a few cinnamon sticks and some autumn leaves.

Bowl of Apples

Use muted colored dishes at each place setting: beige, tan, nutmeg, cream or yellow along with amber colored glassware. An autumn leaf can rest on the plate along with a few acorns and a cinnamon scented votive candle.

Nearby brew some apple cider to add that special aroma and a sweet treat for your customers and guests. There is nothing quite like the scent of apples and cinnamon to bring warm and fuzzy memories to the forefront of everyone nearby.

Leaves

Specialty casual furniture retail stores need to stand apart from the rest, so it is important to change your floor displays and offer something to the people who stop by. Many retail establishments are very successful with this marketing and display model. Take a stroll through your local mall and walk into a Williams Sonoma store. They will most certainly have autumn displays, as well as something wonderful cooking or brewing that will make the customers want to stay, try and most likely buy.

Delicious Cider

It is time to think outside the box, do something that you have not done before, it is important to make your customer and friends feel special so add these special touches to your store or home and reap the benefits.
