Highwood USA LLC, a Pennsylvania company, was founded in January 2003 to produce and sell Highwood® synthetic wood for a wide range of applications where the look and feel of natural wood is sought-but ultra-low maintenance, long term color retention and rot resistance is also needed.  Since 2003, the material has been used extensively by the nation's leading spa manufacturers, with spa cabinets coast-tocoast "dressed" in highwood synthetic wood. Premium looks and excellent outdoor performance have also led to its use in a variety of semi-structural applications nationwide. 2011 is Highwood's first full year of offering its own outdoor furniture collection...made from its own "next generation" synthetic wood and assembled by Amish craftsmen in Pennsylvania.
How do you differentiate yourself from the competition?
Our material is the obvious answer, since we exclusively make this material in North America. Anyone seeking the low maintenance benefi ts of "poly/plastic" furniture-but desiring a more premium finish and luxurious aesthetics, owes it to themselves to take a closer look at our products. However, that alone isn't why we are different. Not only do we make the material used to create our outdoor furniture, we also design and assemble the pieces in Pennsylvania to meet our strict quality standards. We are proud to be "All American" and although new players in this industry, we are determined to deliver great products and outstanding service that dealers and consumers can value year after year. We work hard to achieve that and it has served us well in other industries.
