RH Peterson Co.
In the late 1940s when Robert Peterson was a metalworker, he created what we believe to be the first set of gas log sets to solve a friend's restaurant problem. His idea to use the restaurant's natural gas allowed him to burn gas logs and keep the focal fi replace burning much longer than before. The gas logs were a hit, and in 1949 he founded the Robert H. Peterson Company.
