• Taft Living and Dining is the most traditional group. It features turned legs and strong curved arms that look as beautiful indoors as out.
• Valencia Living set is also an All-Weather Rattan/Teak combination. It is elegant and has been very popular since its introduction in 2009.
• Charles Collection remains the most popular. The Charles Chair is the most comfortable chair in the line. In 2011 we have added a Chat Table and Bar Group to this line.
• Arlington Dining Set is the first use of Stainless Steel in our line. The stacking chairs are comfortable and well designed. The table is an elegant addition to any patio.

History

Karel Simeon, the President and founder of Jewels of Java, came to the United States in 1989. Karel began importing and wholesaling a variety of clothing, gifts, and accessories; in 1998, Karel realized there was potential in the casual furniture industry. Karel's hometown village was in need of jobs and realizing that local master craftsman and skilled laborers offered a great place to start, Karel opened a teak manufacturing plant. Partnering with Perum Perhutani insured that only quality plantation grown teak is used. Jewels of Java has grown into a major factory employing hundreds of local laborers. As Jewels of Java has grown, we have diversifi ed into production of all-weather rattan furniture, sling and now stainless steel materials.
How do you differentiate yourself from the competition?
Jewels of Java combines quality, value, and fl exibility unparalleled in the industry. We can manufacture custom orders from one to 100's. We manufacture our own cushions here in the US. Jewels of Java offers drop ship, domestic warehouse and container programs. Jewels of Java is not a retailer, so we do not compete with our customers. We have several stocking dealer discount levels that are designed to meet the needs of the smallest to the largest of retailers. Additionally, we have in-house credit programs, an excellent warranty, and customer service and logistics professionals to serve our customers.
